The T20 World Cup 2021 is ready to spring into life with 16 teams gunning for glory in the seventh edition of the tournament, hosted in Dubai.

West Indies are the only team to win the trophy on more than one occasion. They triumphed in 2012 before sealing glory once again in 2016 – the last edition of the tournament to go ahead.

The 2020 tournament was pushed back to this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, while the 2021 tournament in Australia has been nudged to 2022, meaning quick-fire action for fans to soak up in consecutive years.

England jet to the Middle East among the favourites to win their second T20 World Cup title. They sit top of the official ICC World T20 rankings with India, Pakistan and New Zealand trailing behind.

The lack of Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer could dent England’s chances of success, while the injured Sam Curran has been replaced in the squad by his brother Tom Curran. Captain Eoin Morgan will be determined to make the most of the return to tournament-style white-ball cricket following ODI glory at the 2019 Cricket World Cup.

RadioTimes.com brings you all the details you need to know about the T20 World Cup squads for the 2021 tournament.
